Give me a handful of colorful beads and a bit of string and I’m perfectly content for the rest of the day! CALLIA by Karen Isaacson is truly a labor of love. Whether I’m sculpting a special component like the fairy body in the picture on the left, or stitching together an intricate pattern like the creamy lace and pastel rosebud beaded necklace below, I find the act of giving form to my ideas to be one of the most glorious ways I can spend my time.

As a lover of history and all things feminine, I am most particularly inspired by the Victorian Era as well as the Roaring Twenties.

Every piece is a one-of-a-kind wearable work of art created for one-of-a-kind individuals. Items often feature unique handmade beads, hand-sculpted elements, or old treasures, such as an antique perfume bottle or  broach.

CALLIA bags, (orange silk with beaded dragon pictured below) are made in a wide variety of styles, from a framed-masterpiece shoulder bag to a red-chrysanthemum handbag.
